A solid alternative to the Olive Garden or any other basic Italian joint. The service makes this place work well!

I enjoyed Mellow Mushroom. Bartenders were great, food was good, atmosphere was clean and just what we were looking for.

Food always fabulous. Husband can eat pizza everyday. Servers are friendly and quick. Sometimes the music versus tv is a little overbearing. Family friendly atmosphere.

Food: 5 the crust is amazing. Ambience: cool, interesting, and fun Service: 3.5 service was nice but our server didn't write down our order and got it slightly wrong after double checking. Not sure why they don't just write down the order. Is this supposed to be impressive? Several restaurants do this and all it does is make me worry if my order will be right. The pizza here is my favorite and I love it! I come here whenever I'm over this way. It's always excellent. I love the mighty meaty. I get the small salad with Esperanza dressing. It's also excellent. Yum!

I'm going to give this a Charleston 4 star, which means probably a 3 in most other places. But the food was good, definitely recommend getting the Shiitake Mushroom pizza and the garlic parm wings. The chicken fell off the bone of the wings and probably some of the best garlic parm wings. I do agree the service here is a little slow in general, and we didn't even have a packed house. But the people are nice and it was a good time.

Visited Mellow Mushroom today. This was the first time for me. I've been looking for a place with good thin crust pizza. We went with the veggie pizza today. Medium-size pizza, around $15. We weren't disappointed the pizza was delicious. The sauce and the stone baked crust were perfect. The veggie toppings were plentiful and fresh. We also tried the meatball trio, three meatballs stuffed with mozzarella cheese, red sauce and sprinkled with parm.This place has over 30 types of draft beers as well as numerous cocktails and wines. If you're looking for something other than pizza, they have calzones, hoagies, burgers, and sandwiches. The place was busy, but we got our order in about 10 - 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and responsive to the customer's needs. We had a good experience at the Mellow Mushroom and will be back to try some of the other items on the menu.

We decided to have a pizza. This place was close to where we were staying, and it had some good reviews. The night we came in there were tons of high schoolers and younger kids in here. The place was super loud and very hard to talk. We ordered a couple of fun cocktails to start. They were well-made and tasty Next, we had a Caesar salad. This was really good. The dressing was yummy and that lettuce was fresh. Had plenty of cheese and good croutons My husband and I could not decide on a pizza. So we got a half and half. I chose the mixed mushroom. I chose the holy shiitake. It was so good! My husband got the house. Both of them were delicious. I loved the crust and the toppings were fresh with plentiful sauce and cheeses. The service was really good. The whole place was full and it was rocking this day.

A much needed after work social to relax and unwind after the work week. Nice, roomy restaurant with a steady flow of customers. Very nice and friendly staff who took care of our group. The place was busy, but everything ran smoothly. Cool laid-back atmosphere. While waiting for our orders, I went over to sample some beers. Very generous samples. After trying five, I went with the Blake Hard Cider Peach Party. You have to try it! Each of us ordered different meals. I ordered a small mushroom pizza and was able to take half of it home to have for the next day.
